What is Transneft? We know nothing about any of this.” *and an absolute masterpiece: A comment from Transneft spokesperson Igor Demin: *- “I already gave all the necessary comments to the news wires. You can look them up, if you are a media outlet. Are you a media outlet? The very one that, as I recall, wrote that we are thieves and bandits. (The New Times: nothing of the sort could be found in the magazine’s archives.) ****You know, a hundred years ago I would have slapped you in the face with a glove and happily run you through. But now I’m forced to talk to you on the phone…” “***Transneft” should hire Mikhail Boyarsky (a famous Russian actor known for swashbuckling roles) as its press secretary. He’d be great at comments like that. -Just wait, you journalistic scoundrel!
