Last Monday, prominent Yabloko party member Alexei Navalny was present at a meeting of the organizing committee of the “Russian March” (the very same one where the plan for holding the November 4 event in the metro was discussed). This became known by chance—a recording of the meeting was leaked onto Runet (the Russian-language internet). Mr. Navalny himself explained on his LiveJournal blog that, supposedly, Yabloko had decided to act as an observer of the nationalists’ march. ... Most likely, though, the issue is something else—the presence of a Yabloko activist at this fascist gathering was authorized by someone. And it is not hard to guess by whom.
