I work as the head of an educational institution within DOSAAF of Russia (the Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Navy, a Soviet-era paramilitary sports and training organization). Under its charter, we are a non-state educational institution, one of hundreds like it across the country. A few days ago, we received an order for ознакомление stating that the chairman of the society’s council, S. A. Mayev, on his own initiative, is "signing up" the entire DOSAAF structure for the Popular Front. More precisely, he is submitting an application to Putin for it to join. I wonder how many members of DOSAAF (the Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Navy) actually agree with its effective renaming as DOSPZhIV (the Volunteer Society for Assisting the Party of Crooks and Thieves)?
