A lot of people in the comments were asking, “So what happens for this?” The police of the Moragush District reply:

All in all, it’s a good and proper approach: we asked United Russia (the ruling political party) for help in fighting corruption, and when no help came, we gave our evaluative opinion of that party — “the party of crooks and thieves.” That’s how the letter of the law and a formalistic approach can be made to serve citizens. By the way, here’s another example. Do those brazen, dishonest posters annoy you too — “This road is being built under the supervision of United Russia,” or “This building is being built by United Russia,” or “United Russia secured 1 billion rubles for road construction”? They annoy everyone. If they were giving back some of what they stole, that would be one thing. But instead they hand out our own budget money as if they’re doing us a favor. So this guy in Orenburg went ahead and sued United Russia over unfulfilled promises.

Good for him, seriously.
