The Government Office has responded to my inquiry about why the People’s Front website is hosted on the official website of the Russian government.
The reasoning is clear. But it’s still hard to understand: if the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (the prime minister) suddenly becomes interested tomorrow in photos of kittens or... mmmm... rhythmic gymnastics, would that mean that sections called "cute fluffballs" and "beauty in the service of the state" would appear on the official Russian government website? Those would also, supposedly, count as "areas of activity."
