On Wednesday, December 7, Judge A.A. Krivoruchko of the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow upheld Judge O.Yu. Borovkova’s ruling sentencing Alexei Navalny to 15 days of administrative detention. Krivoruchko, who is known in particular for having twice extended the detention of Magnitsky (Sergei Magnitsky, the Russian lawyer whose death in custody became internationally known), rejected, like Borovkova, virtually all motions filed by Navalny’s representatives. As a result, Alexei is currently being held at Special Detention Center No. 1 of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Russian Interior Ministry at the following address: 2g Simferopolsky Boulevard, Moscow.
