Yesterday I was on the new TV Rain (an independent Russian TV channel) program "Parfyonov///Pozner". It was honestly a little intimidating to step into the little glass aquarium-like studio for a live broadcast with such towering giants of the profession.

http://youtu.be/x9q7r0TSjw0 The part about censorship on Channel One (Russia's main state-controlled TV channel) turned out to be quite revealing. It would be interesting to hear comments on this part of the conversation from Channel One's management, the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, and, above all, from the Guarantor of the Constitution (as we remember, he loves calling himself "a scholar of law"), in the context of current legislation. Parfyonov and Pozner deserve a lot of credit, of course, for agreeing to move into a "small TV format" in order to be able to do what they want and invite whomever they want. Even if the audience is relatively small, they are making real, big television.
