The FSB (Russia’s Federal Security Service) has been given land and is building an apartment block in Krylatskoye, right in the courtyard of other residential buildings, as is customary in Moscow. After all, we live in Singapore, don’t we — there’s such a shortage of land. Since the permit paperwork was obviously drawn up with violations and no one wants to show it to anyone, Sobyanin and the FSB found an elegant way out of the situation:
