DMP decided to have a little fun with Chrome users. The stats for this little blog show there are plenty of them:
Especially for you, one of DMP’s activists (thanks to him for that) made a standard Chrome extension that turns it into the Kind Browser of Truth. Once you go online, you’ll see things called by their real names rather than by euphemisms. Go to the official Chrome Web Store and install the "Kind Browser of Truth" extension. It takes literally one second. After that, Chrome really does rip the mask off: "United Russia" turns into the "Party of Crooks and Thieves" (a well-known anti-corruption nickname for Russia’s ruling party), "Putin" into "Promisekin" (a mocking surname derived from the Russian word for “promises”), and "Bastrykin" into "foreign agent Bastrykin".
Everything else remains completely untouched. Naturally, you can disable the feature at any time in the browser settings. Surely you’re sitting in an office with plenty of coworkers who don’t know much about browsers but are constantly hanging out online? They’ll be absolutely delighted if you quietly install this extension for them! Does your mom, dad, or grandma read the news online? They need the Kind Browser of Truth! Install it and enjoy their amazement: They’ve already started calling themselves that officially?! At internet cafés, in schools, at universities, in offices.
