A wonderful story from Khimki, where United Russia candidate Shakhov, a "strong manager", is fighting an exceptionally honest campaign against the people’s candidate, Yevgenia Chirikova, with absolutely no administrative pressure. The fight is so honest and pure that last Saturday, during another "Campaign for Khimki" event, while Chirikova and Sobchak, who had come to support her, were talking to people on a trolleybus, that trolleybus was 1) stopped, 2) declared broken down, and 3) emptied of all passengers. After that, the trolleybus calmly drove away.

http://youtu.be/KPgvl6hGqaI Chirikova is not being given a single venue where she could meet with voters. Various well-known people who come to campaign for her can only speak outdoors.
Even when Chirikova’s campaign headquarters rents a venue on a commercial basis, at the standard market rate, some kind of "accident" of course occurs there, and it instantly becomes unavailable. In Khimki, there are no trolleybuses and no venues for anyone who is not from "United Russia — the Party of Crooks and Thieves." But there is some good news: Film director Eldar Ryazanov, who even recorded a video message in support of Chirikova, has offered her his Eldar cinema club for a meeting. Given how many Khimki residents work in Moscow, it’s a suitable option. Today, October 8, at 7:30 p.m. Moscow, 105 Leninsky Prospekt. Eldar Cinema Club. Chirikova herself will be there, of course, along with well-known figures who support her. How to get there: from the Yugo-Zapadnaya or Oktyabrskaya metro stations, take trolleybus 62 or 84, or route minibus 62, to the “Eldar Cinema Club” stop (formerly “Furniture House”); from Prospekt Vernadskogo or Kaluzhskaya metro stations, take bus 246 to the “Eldar Cinema Club” stop.
