http://youtu.be/3xn93KZGLVY A surveillance camera at the entrance recorded how journalist Oleg Kashin was attacked and nearly killed. Fortunately, he survived despite being struck 56 times on the head with a metal rod. Russia’s “President” Medvedev stated three times that this attempted murder would be investigated.

Two years have passed. Silence. Of the investigative team, only one investigator remains. At Medvedev’s press conferences, journalists are instructed: “Any question except one about Kashin”. In August of this year, Kashin gave the Investigative Committee a photograph of a security guard from the Seliger forum (a pro-Kremlin youth camp), who looks very much like the attacker. For three months, the Investigative Committee has carefully NOT CHECKED the photograph or this lead. “Vasya from the 29th complex” has not even been questioned in two years. Those who ordered the attack are free and continue, at our expense, to eat “Bellon” oysters. The perpetrators are free and are being paid with our money to guard the filthy pro-Kremlin “Seliger.” Russia’s chief investigator holds a residence permit in another country. All of us continue to feed an unimaginably huge army of useless, incompetent parasites who call themselves law enforcement. In Russia alone, there are 10 police officers per 1,000 residents, compared with a global average of 3 per 1,000. Russia has 20.1 intentional homicides per 100,000 residents. Only Jamaica, South Africa, Venezuela, and Colombia are worse. And if the “Kashin case,” despite all the public attention, journalists’ pickets, and “three presidential promises,” is still not being investigated, then what can an ordinary person in trouble hope for?
