Dvornikov told Russian News Service this. "A person who exposes others and has chosen for himself the role of bearer of the truth ought, after all, to meet the same high moral and ethical standards that he demands of his opponents. I’m supposed to be an especially dangerous state criminal, not just some nobody for petty Civic Chamber swindlers to be checking up on. The entire Investigative Committee will be offended too. Were those 12 investigators for especially important cases assigned to me, with FSB operational support, for nothing? What does the Civic Chamber think they’re doing there? Idling around instead of conducting this most important investigation? There have already been searches and seizures everywhere imaginable:

And at the bar association, where I took my law exams, there weren’t just document seizures — they interrogated every single member of the examination board to make sure Navalny had in fact taken the exam on the same terms as everyone else. I’ll tell you more: during one of the interrogations I saw a folder on the investigator’s desk titled "A. Navalny’s Health Status." I have no idea what was in it — maybe they were seizing records from outpatient clinics too — but I wouldn’t be surprised if it contained, entered into the case file, a baby tooth with the note: "seized in the course of investigative actions from a mouse. According to the witness, the tooth was received by her from citizen A. A. Navalny, who stated at the time: 'Mouse, mouse, take my baby tooth and give me a permanent one.' The legality of exchanging (without additional payment) a baby tooth for a permanent tooth, whose market value is significantly higher, is currently being examined for evidence of a crime under Article 159, Part 4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (large-scale fraud)" So those overzealous, publicity-hungry members of the Civic Chamber can only stand off to the side and smoke nervously. There’s simply no way they can outdo these guys.
