Just yesterday, the Investigative Committee said that it had sent one of the “criminal” “cases” opened against me (the “Kirovles” case) to the Prosecutor’s Office for review. This review normally takes 10 days, but if necessary (because the case is complex or there is a lot of material), it can be extended to 30 days. In my case, the prosecutor read 30 volumes of the criminal case file in a single day. Checked everything very, very thoroughly. Found no mistakes at all. And now, already today, I am urgently required to appear at the Prosecutor General’s Office to receive the indictment. The case has already been sent to the Leninsky District Court of Kirov, the Investigative Committee tells us. So in April, you’ll be able to see me sitting in the defendant’s dock. I’ll answer for it, so to speak, to the fullest extent of the law. Although, judging by this pace, I won’t be surprised if the trial moves along just as briskly. In that case, we should have a verdict by April 1.
