Alexander Margolin became the 21st person detained in the "Bolotnaya case" (the criminal case over the Bolotnaya Square protest in Moscow). "He grabbed a police officer by the clothing and knocked him to the ground." The investigator petitioned for Margolin's arrest, claiming that he had been "hiding from the investigation for more than nine months," even though Alexander had been living at his registered address the entire time with his wife and two children. He had not even received any summons. Sasha is one of the few "Bolotnaya Prisoners" I know personally—he, too, was arrested after the December 5 rally and was given 10 days in detention.
