The first two meetings were in Yuzhnoye Butovo (a residential district in southern Moscow), and there were lots of jokes on Twitter along the lines of, "At a meeting with voters in Butovo, Navalny got his phone snatched." Ulitsa Skobelevskaya metro station. 4:00 p.m.
Nobody snatched my phone. It was all very warm and heartfelt. A man in a denim jacket and glasses in the front row even suggested, "Put out a box, and we'll collect money for your campaign." I wrote about it on Twitter. Then more jokes appeared, like, "Now in Butovo they snatch phones saying, 'This is for Navalny.'" Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo metro station. 6:00 p.m. This was already Severnoye Butovo (a residential district in northern Moscow). A lot of people came, and the atmosphere was very warm.
