It started and stopped raining twice. No one left.
The gathering by Orekhovo metro station at 8:00 PM turned out to be one of the biggest we’ve ever had. More than 600 people. The local volunteer team who handled outreach did an excellent job.
By the way, an electrician from the local DEZ (a municipal housing maintenance office) came to the meeting and said that public utilities workers are being paid one ruble for every one of our leaflets, stickers, posters, and so on that they turn in. That explains why people in uniform keep coming up to our campaign cubes and asking for "a bigger stack of leaflets."
