Even though the meetings were only yesterday at Pervomayskaya, Shchyolkovskaya, and Semyonovskaya, and today in Zelenograd, everyone keeps asking me about Montenegro. Apparently, the local authorities have confirmed the existence of a company from 2007 in which I am listed as a founder. At the same time, the company was never registered for tax purposes, never opened a bank account, owns nothing, and has done nothing. It looks a lot like Dmitry Medvedev’s company in Singapore, which he does not list in his financial disclosure. Well, I have little to add to what Volkov wrote. I have no idea what is going on in Montenegro. It is a country with a highly corrupt and inefficient bureaucratic apparatus. And in 2007, it was like Russia in 1997. I don’t see any problem here or any reason to worry. As early as yesterday, we sent the necessary inquiries to that country’s government agencies. Tomorrow we will send a lawyer to figure out what is happening there. I do not have, and never have had, any real estate, bank accounts, or other material assets in Montenegro. As you understand, there would be no point in hiding a company that anyone can find through a public registry. I did have an account in the United States, opened for me when I was a Yale student; there was no way to verify its existence from Russia, but I still closed that account, as required by law, even though it was not easy to do from Moscow. Why break the law when you can simply not break it? We’ll sort everything out. Everything will be fine. Now for the rest: Yesterday: 2:00 p.m., Shchyolkovskaya metro station, 9th Parkovaya Street
4:00 p.m., Pervomayskaya metro station, Izmailovsky Boulevard
6:00 p.m., Semyonovskaya metro station. There were a lot of people.
Today I spent the whole day in Zelenograd and held three excellent meetings there. 4:00 p.m., Panfilovsky Prospekt
6:00 p.m., Yunosti Square
8:00 p.m., Station Square
Thank you to everyone who came. People of goodwill, from Zelenograd to Montenegro, join us. http://team.navalny.ru/
