A fairly detailed report from the meeting. In fact, events like this are always an integral part of a normal election campaign in developed countries. Here, no one holds them: there is no such tradition, and there is supposedly nothing to discuss—the only real party to negotiations is the authorities, and there is nothing to discuss with anyone else. And certainly no one organizes meetings in the format we had yesterday: every guest openly pays to take part, so the candidate’s campaign does not bear any of the organizational costs (and they are quite substantial). Our election campaign has already broken many stereotypes. We will break this one too: there are things to discuss, and there are people to discuss them with. So we will discuss them.
