We really wanted to make our campaign advertising meaningful—especially the videos. I mean, it’s always nice when everything sparkles, flashes, and hypnotizes, and maybe the best campaign ad looks like this, but sometimes you also want to talk seriously about the issues. Ekaterina and Vladimir Mirzoev came up with a truly wonderful idea for us—Navalny’s Circles. They didn’t just come up with it; together with a whole team, they brought it to life, and we’re hugely grateful to them for that. Navalny’s Circles is about talking with people. About education—with teachers. About healthcare—with doctors. About the judicial and law enforcement system—with lawyers, former judges, and police officers. And one video is special—I’m in an empty Circle. We created this project to discuss problems and their solutions with people who know the system from the inside. Accordingly, we’re also placing the videos in professional communities: the “education” one on forums and websites for teachers, etc. You would really help us if you shared the relevant video in exactly that way. Everyone has a friend or acquaintance connected with medicine. Everyone knows a female teacher or a school principal. Your children have a teacher, and she has an email address. Everyone knows someone interested in the “national question” (issues of ethnicity and nationalism)—send that person this particular “Navalny’s Circle.” Each video has a “teaser”—a short summary.
