Do we have a secret move—a “silver bullet” for the final days of the election campaign? Of course we do, and we’re going to hang it on your refrigerator. Every poll, whether it’s a paid-for Kremlin poll or an objective independent one, shows that there are several million people in Moscow who understand perfectly well what is happening and want change. These people are ready to vote for me. Because they want a real fight against corruption, not a fake one. They want independent courts. They want to pay for housing and utilities what it actually costs, not whatever monopolies and officials calculate over cigars and whiskey. They understand that a city with such an enormous budget should provide its residents with a vastly higher quality of life than Muscovites have now. Every poll also shows that there are millions of people in Moscow who vote for the authorities simply because they are the authorities. People vote for Sobyanin (for Luzhkov, for Yeltsin, for Putin) simply because he is “the boss.” There are millions of city residents who believe what they hear on television. They are ordinary good people; they are just used to trusting TV. The election will be won by whoever gets more of their supporters to the polling stations. Yes, television, which is working against us, carpet-bombs the public. Every paid propaganda segment is seen by half a million people. But our motivation is a million times stronger. We know we are right. And we know for certain that a three-minute campaign conversation with any victim of the zombie box (that is, television propaganda) turns that person into a normal human being who will vote for us. There can be only one secret weapon (also known as the “Silver Bullet,” the “Weapon of Retribution,” the “Political Plasma Gun,” and the “Razor-Sharp Shuriken of Muscovites”):
One hundred thousand people who will hang this checklist on their refrigerator and follow it conscientiously. It’s very easy. Anyone can do it. Everyone must do it. Then we will get more of our supporters to the polling stations and win. We need to bring out one and a half million people. This is not just possible—it is entirely realistic. After all, they need to be mobilized from the very real three million voters who are ready to vote for change. They’re just too lazy to go to the polling station.
If you ask them personally, they will definitely come. Guaranteed. Everything depends on you. Right now you may be thinking: "They only need 5–10 people from me out of those one and a half million. That’s an insignificant number that won’t change anything. So I won’t bother. I’ll go vote myself, and that will be enough. Navalny’s LiveJournal blog gets 250,000 readers a day—they’ll do it all". That is the worst possible thought. That is the moment everything collapses. That is the moment nothing works out for us. This cannot be delegated. It cannot be handed off. Nothing can replace it. Everyone does their part, and then we win. Or you think, "nothing depends on me," and United Russia wins. The Toad_on_the_Tube smirks contentedly, rubs its little paws, and thinks: suckers, they had a chance, but once again they were just too lazy.
This checklist should be downloaded here. Post it on all your social media. Print it out. Put it on your refrigerator. And conscientiously complete every item. This is the minimum program for everyone; we are sure that the 32,000 people registered for "Navalny in Every Home" will do much more. And we will give them (us) more difficult assignments. Most of them (us) will carry them out. But we will not ride into a bright future on the efforts of heroes alone. Everyone’s contribution is needed. To do everything set out here, you will need to spend very little time. You definitely spend more than that every week just looking at pictures of cats and dogs on the internet. Invest that time in our common victory. Then we will achieve it. Your refrigerator is waiting. Every time you open it and see (or do not see) our secret weapon on it, you will know for sure whether you truly want change or are ready to go on obediently feeding the Toad_on_the_Tube. http://navalny.ru/checklist
