On December 26 at 2:00 p.m., the Chertanovo District Court will deliver its verdict in the case of Daniil Konstantinov. Details are available in the VK group.
Those who are not familiar with the circumstances of this case can read about them here. Before the "Konstantinov case," it still seemed unlikely that the "law enforcement system" would fabricate murder charges against political activists. After all, it is usually easier to plant drugs or come up with some kind of "extremism" charge. And yet that is exactly what is happening here: a fabricated murder case. Konstantinov has an ironclad alibi, and all the investigators’ favorite tools, such as mobile phone geolocation, also support his innocence, yet the prosecutor is still demanding a 10-year sentence. What is notable about this case is that all outside observers—even those whose political views do not fully or 100% align with the defendant’s position—after attending the hearings, have publicly acknowledged the injustice of what is happening in court and the absurdity of the charges. You can support Daniil and his relatives on December 26 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chertanovo Court in Moscow.
