"People's Alliance" has set a record. No other party has been denied registration so many times. We have already held three times party congresses that were legally impeccable and completely transparent and open.
http://minjust.ru/ru/node/2541 They are afraid of "People's Alliance" and do not want to register it, because it is so convenient when, for the past 10 years, no one has posed any real competition in elections. Vedomosti wrote something quite revealing:
The Justice Ministry has again suspended registration of Navalny's party "People's Alliance" will challenge the ministry's objections in court Read the full article
It was not possible to obtain clarification from the Justice Ministry yesterday. A person close to the presidential administration indicated late last year that Navalny would not be allowed to create a party: a politician must know how to compromise, and Navalny is not inclined to do that. So this Kremlin gang of thieves calls stopping our investigations into them a "compromise." There will be no compromise. We came together as a party and are waging this struggle not so that Ivanov, Petrov, and Navalny can take offices in the State Duma, but so that power in Russia can be replaceable, accountable to citizens, and elected in fair elections—instead of being a clique of these "state managers" with estates in Austria and houses in London bought with bribe money. We have no interest in creating some other party, and we do not want to. Neither we nor the citizens of Russia need yet another party that "knows how to compromise" with the Sosny dacha cooperative or with its big brother, the Ozero cooperative (a well-known group tied to Putin's inner circle).
