They’ve been kicked off the ballot in St. Petersburg. This, dear friends, isn’t even a circus with horses. It’s a circus without horses. After this, it’s no longer possible to discuss whether an election boycott is needed. You can’t boycott something that doesn’t exist. Elections are worth taking part in. But this crap, where nothing depends on us, is not. What really surprises me is this statement: "Yavlinsky confirmed that, regarding the unlawful decisions made in the St. Petersburg elections, Yabloko intends to file a complaint with the Central Election Commission and then, if necessary, appeal to the courts." It’s roughly like saying: "We got a boot in the face for absolutely no reason. We express our outrage and will definitely send complaints to the consumer protection society and the boot factory, and we will make sure that boots used for kicking people in the face are fitted with a piece of flannel cloth. That will soften the blow and let us quickly and efficiently clean that very boot when we are permitted to do so.".
