On March 20, 2017, Alexei Navalny traveled to Altai Krai to open presidential campaign offices in Barnaul and Biysk. In Barnaul, before the event began, he was splashed with brilliant green antiseptic dye, and the owner of the venue refused to let all the gathered volunteers inside. But the meeting went ahead anyway, and the incident itself became one of the symbols of pressure on the campaign. This gallery shows how regional offices were opened amid constant resistance from provocateurs, security forces, and local authorities.
