The headquarters recruited and coordinated volunteers, organized campaigning, trained participants, prepared election observers, and worked on regional political issues. After the presidential campaign ended, some headquarters closed, while others continued operating as independent regional political teams. They took part in local campaigns, supported grassroots initiatives, and organized public events across different cities. The network also achieved direct electoral successes. In 2020, Tomsk headquarters leader Ksenia Fadeyeva and Novosibirsk headquarters leader Sergey Boyko won seats in their respective city councils. In spring 2021, amid a prosecutor’s effort to designate the organization as extremist, the network announced that it would suspend operations to protect staff and volunteers. Later, a court formally banned the activities of Navalny Headquarters in Russia. At the end of 2022, the project was relaunched as an anonymous activist platform on the Tor network.
