A Harassing Lawmaker. A Psychopath. A Corrupt Official.

Today is the 8th of March, International Women’s Day.

The holiday that is often falsely treated as nothing but a day when all boys must congratulate all girls,

give them flowers and wish them to stay beautiful, “a real jewel of our company” or something.

But in reality, today’s holiday is much more serious than this.

This is the day of solidarity with the women’s struggle for emancipation, equal rights and justice.

This is a very good, rightful and needed holiday. And today, I would like to express my solidarity as well.

Solidarity to the brave women who were not afraid to stand up

to one disgusting deputy and publicly accused him of sexual harassment.

I’m speaking about LDPR deputy Leonid Slutsky.

He’s not just a deputy – he’s the head of the committee for international affairs.

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve learned this story in all the details.

Several journalists from various media said that deputy Slutsky harassed them.

He pressured them to have sex with him, or touched them, or just talked dirty to them.

Two days ago, BBC journalist Farida Rustamova shared her story.

She even made a tape recording of Slutsky calling her a “bunny wabbit”,

offering her to be his lover and being aggrieved because Farida “doesn’t want to kiss him”.

Put yourself in Rustamova’s place.

And if you’re a man, put yourself in the place of her father or boyfriend.

Doesn’t feel nice, does it?

What makes it even more disgusting is the reaction

of deputy Slutsky and his colleagues on these accusations.

Here, look at Slutsky’s Facebook post.

He says he’s not going to react to the “bogus stories” of opposition mass media.

Harassment accusations, he says, were made up, because “it’s hard to cavil at him from the business side”.

We’ll see about that, deputy Slutsky.

And then he goes to the comments, and there, with ANOTHER DUMA DEPUTY,

they literally MAKE FUN of the journalists and SPLIT them between each other.

Slutsky is not just unashamed, he’s PROUD of himself.

And Slutsky’s party boss – Zhirinovsky’s son Igor Lebedev –

suggests to deprive the journalists of accreditation, and, basically, leave them without a job.

He’s supported by his equally disgusting dad. Not only did he call all accusations a lie

and offer Slutsky his support, he also called the journalists

“a bunch of angry glifnards who work for the West".

But they all were surpassed by the head of State Duma.

Vyacheslav Volodin congratulated the female journalists with the upcoming holiday yesterday.

And when asked the question: “What are you gonna do with Slutsky”, he replied:

“Is Duma too dangerous for you? Then go work somewhere else”.

Alright. You don’t want to respond to the accusations?

Then the Anti-Corruption Foundation is ready – in the name of all normal people –

to stand up for the journalists.

We all know that deputy Slutsky is not only a disgusting man

who insults others with his harassments, but also a crook.

An incredibly well-fixed crook, who lives beyond his means.

We’re going to present you a rock-solid reason for his resignation. Here we go.

"If they can't find anything to cavil at from the professional side,

they'll make up bogus like this"

My favorite topic is illicit enrichment.

This is the situation when the expenses and assets of an official are incomparable to his incomes.

In the beautiful Russia of the future this will be enough to open a criminal case.

In 2010, Slutsky includes this Bentley into his tax return.

It costs 13 million rubles. Slutsky’s annual income is six times less – 2 million rubles.

He doesn’t have any other sources of income, and by that time he had been a deputy for 10 years

and was obliged to declare all his incomes.

He can’t accept such things as a gift either, and his wife, according to her declaration, earns peanuts.

Where did the Bentley come from? A mystery.

Moving on. The year 2016. The last available tax return. What do we see?

A SECOND BENTLEY. Like this one. The price is 15 to 22 million rubles, depends on the package.

To afford such a car, Slutsky would need to restrain from eating,

drinking or spending any money at all since 2012.

He didn’t sell his old Bentley, by the way.

Here’s another Slutsky’s car. Mercedes S-Class.

Here, it’s not even about the price anymore, although it’s really expensive as well.

The thing is, we managed to find the actual car Slutsky owns.

And it allowed us to take a peek at the life of a people’s representative.

And now for a nice trick. We can put some joyful music on

and start browsing through the list of fines issued for the deputy’s car since June 2017.

That’s about half a year.

59 PAGES!!! 59 PAGES OF FINES.

The total amount of infractions is – drumroll – eight hundred and twenty five.

The infamous Mara Bagdasarian would be jealous.

Sure, Slutsky has a driver. But surely, the driver drives as ordered by his boss –

the VIP passenger with an immunity.

That’s why I tell you with all responsibility that this car is being used by a socially dangerous psychopath.

We’re speaking about an average of 3 infractions a day.

And since Slutsky only uses the Mercedes to go to work, this makes it 5 a day.

He COMPLETELY ignores ALL traffic rules.

Have you ever driven down Kutuzovsky Avenue and see a car driving on the borderline?

That’s Slutsky. He’s got tens of such fines.

A Mercedes driving in oncoming in the middle of Moscow? Probably Slutsky as well.

And how about driving in the bus lane IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION? Yup, Slutsky as well.

I have no idea ho deputy Slutsky managed not to kill anyone on his Mercedes yet.

But at least five times every working day he’s really close to it

And he’s a de-pu-ty. A people’s representative.

Head of a Duma committee. A person whose job is to represent OUR interests.

And he’s trying to kill us every day.

I honestly think that, in Slutsky’s case, harassing and insulting the journalists

is a sufficient reason for a resignation.

But people in today’s Russia don’t resign because of this.

I also think that Bentleys chaotically appearing in his tax returns

are a sufficient reason for an investigation and probably sacking.

But that doesn’t happen in Russia either.

Moreover, I think that 825 fines in half a year is a good enough reason

to at least check this deputy’s mental health,

let alone his compliance with the standards of behavior and ethics

But there’s no hope for us here either.

But. And this is my favorite. In Russia, there is a formally strict rule

that says that all state officials must report all their assets – both those they own and those they use.

So we go to Rublyovka now to have a look at the deputy’s 800 sq m house.

He owns it since 1999, so I won’t even raise the question of where the money came from.

The prices were different, let’s just suppose he had the money then.

But it’s not only about the price, it’s about the area.

Slutsky states that the land plot is 1200 sq m large,

but if we carefully study the borders of the actual land plot,

we’ll see that it significantly exceeds the stated area.

This makes me think: did Slutsky illegally capture this additional land?

But no! He didn’t capture it illegally!

In 2008, he RENTED the adjoining piece of forest with the area of 1 ha.

And he never declared it.

The story is as simple as it gets. First, here’s the rental document.

Second, here’s the tax return, and the plot’s not there.

Third, here’s our complaint about Slutsky’s unaccounted property. That’s it.

This is a rock-solid reason to sack Slutsky and release him from his deputy duties.

This is just a formality. Let mi stres it out one more time, because this is important.

This unaccounted Rublyovka hectare is the smallest of the problems with this disgusting Slutsky.

Deputy Slutsky is our shame, he’s the worst of the worst.

For 19 YEARS we, the tax payers, are paying this slut his salary. As of today, it’s 450,000 a month.

And he enjoys himself, insults others, speeds in oncoming

and doesn’t want to explain himself when accused of harassment.

"This never happened. Women never complained,

nor will they ever sincerely complain over some wrong actions"

In the end, I’d like to once again express my admiration of the bravery of those journalists

who told us the truth about deputy Slutsky.

This deserves a great respect. Let’s work together to make sure

this disgusting deputy is sacked from the state service and this never happens again.
