We remember everything, and we write things down.

0:04

Especially, when it concerns a dispute with a government official.

0:08

Especially, when he’s a United Russia functionary. And, especially, when it’s such a vile turncoat as Sergei Zheleznyak.

0:16

Many of you have heard of him, of course. He is the author of some of the most disgusting and insane legislature,

0:22

such as the Law on internet censorship or the Law on foreign agents.

0:26

He’s a regular guest of propaganda TV shows, and he uses every opportunity to speak of patriotism.

0:31

..patriotism today is not just about sayings! Today, patriotism is about doings..

0:41

Sometimes, he even sings patriotic songs.

0:52

And, well, as it always happens with United Russia crooks, the ones that holler the loudest of their love

0:56

for the Motherland are the ones with families living abroad, enjoying the money stolen in Russia.

1:01

Back in 2012, I published the results of investigation on Zheleznyak.

1:06

In the report, I talked about Zheleznyak’s daughters studying at elite British and Swiss schools.

1:09

The State Duma deputy was paying their tuition, which exceeded his annual income, and he was also the proud owner of several vintage cars and apartments.

1:17

Later, we were able to prove that Zhelznyak owns an offshore yacht club.

1:22

Our patriot had nothing to say regarding his undeclared property and assets, but he did claim loud and clear that his children will

1:31

complete their studies abroad and will return to Mother Russia.

1:36

Here, you can take a look at Zheleznyak’s post on his Facebook page. It’s been 4 years.

1:41

Let’s take a look at the life of deputy Zheleznyak’s family. Could an apology be in order, because his children, after graduating from their schools

1:53

n England and Switzerland, had returned to their home country, to share the burdens of the economic crisis with all of us?

1:58

Let’s use the social media and other open sources to see what Zheleznyak’s elder daughter is up to.

2:06

Anastasia Zheleznyak first completed her studies at the American School in Switzerland, and then got accepted into BA program in London.

2:13

After getting her BA, she didn’t return home, but continued her studies at a different British university.

2:21

In 2015, Anastasia Zheleznyak completed her education, but she didn’t go back to Russia, as her daddy promised, getting a job instead.

2:30

And where do you think she works now? In the very den of Russophobia, if daddy Zheleznyak is to be believed, or,

2:36

as the Russian authorities prefer to call it, “the mouthpiece of anti-Russian propaganda” — the British Broadcasting Corporation.

2:43

..today's decisions that were made by British financial institutions under pressure by British Government,

2:47

show that they have serious problems both with a freedom of speech and with a rule of law

2:58

There, at the BBC, she met her future husband, a Scotsman by the name of McClymont.

3:03

And so our Anastasia Zhelezhnyak became Anastasia McClymont, and in the very near future she’ll become a UK citizen as well.

3:10

..due to this situation we will demand explanations from the British authorities..

3:16

Zheleznyak’s other daughter, Liza, continues her studies in Great Britain, and she also began working there as production designer. It seems very unlikely that she plans to return to Russia.

3:26

So, I’ll say that our dispute with deputy Zheleznyak is settled, and we have proved him to be a liar and a big mouth.

3:33

At the same time I want to point out that there’s nothing wrong with sending your children to study abroad.

3:39

And, of course, deputy Zheleznyak’s children, who are already of legal age, have a right to live wherever they want to, and to look for their personal happiness elsewhere.

3:46

I can even believe that they are quite good people, and it’s not their fault that their daddy is a crook.

3:51

There’s only one grievance that I have with all of this — I am tired of the endless hypocrisy of people such as Zheleznyak, who’ve become the foundation of this regime.

3:59

They endlessly teach us to love our homeland, they spin the narrative of the threatening West, they had built their careers and policies on the criticism of Europe

4:08

..I was not able to team up with foreigners. But not because I'm such a confrontational person,

4:14

but because they believe that they have the right to tell our country what to do..

4:19

and the US — and all the while they are moving their children to the Western countries, so that they study and live there.

4:26

I mean, they are normal, loving parents, and they do realize that here, in Russia, they are destroying the educational system and the public health system with their own hands.

4:39

And so, wishing their children all the best, they send them off, far away from themselves, their Putin and their United Russia party.

4:44

The Russian media was recently up in arms, discussing the draft law that would force the government officials to bring their children back from abroad.

4:51

Personally, I don’t believe it will ever happen, because it contradicts the very essence of Russia’s political arrangement,

4:58

which is to steal here and to spend that money on yourself and your family abroad, in the comfortable countries of the West.
