Navalny poisoning: What we know

As you know, today during the flight from

Tomsk to Moscow, Alexei Navalny suddenly fell ill.

He lost consciousness, and the plane

made an emergency landing in Omsk.

Navalny was hospitalized with

suspected toxic poisoning.

He is currently in intensive care in Omsk.

He is in a coma. He has been placed on

a mechanical ventilator. His

condition remains serious. There is still no clear diagnosis,

and we do not know what exactly

caused everything that

happened.

Navalny’s family and associates have decided

to transfer him to another clinic.

This needs to be done at least because

the hospital in Omsk where he is now being treated

simply does not have sufficient equipment

to carry out all the necessary

tests and procedures. In addition, this must be done

for safety reasons.

The organizational issue of

transferring Navalny to another hospital

is under our control. We thank everyone

who has offered us help, but at the moment we

have all the necessary resources.

Nevertheless, we ask the management

of the hospital where

Alexei is currently being treated not to obstruct the release of all

the documents required for his transfer.
