One thing is unclear: why is the Investigative Committee being so strangely coy about this? There are only two possibilities here: a) the money was stolen from Navalny; b) the money was stolen together with Navalny. For example, it was raised for political activity but spent on an apartment in the Czech Republic.

Ashurkov, Lyaskin, and Jankauskas certainly did not steal anything from Navalny. The ones stealing from him, just as they steal from you, are Yakunin, Vainshtok, Kostin, Miller, and Putin, who commands them.

They should have just written from the start who they meant by "other unidentified accomplices."

Vladimir Ashurkov, Konstantin Jankauskas, and Nikolai Lyaskin are being criminally prosecuted for the honest and достойную work they did in an election campaign that so terrified all that Kremlin riffraff. They have decided to make an example of them for what we all once demonstrated together: that a major election campaign can be funded by ordinary people, not by oligarchs or the Kremlin’s off-the-books cash.

Honest money, raised in small amounts from thousands of people, is a crime in Putin’s eyes. It is a major threat to his regime. How can that be? People just go ahead and raise millions without our permission.

I want to once again thank Kostya, Vladimir, and Kolya for the excellent work they have done and continue to do. Sending support to them and their families. You are going through a difficult period now, but you will get through it.

On the Kremlin’s side there is only brazen lying, obvious not only to those who made donations but to everyone at all. On our side is the truth, and that means we will win.
