The Moscow City Court today rejected the prosecutor’s office and sent back the materials in the "Yves Rocher case". Well, that’s yet another sign that the case was fabricated so crudely that even Moscow courts are a little embarrassed to hear it. Or maybe they’re not embarrassed—they just don’t want to take on someone else’s headache. In the end, we all understand that a case in which the supposed victim says he is not a victim should not be sent back to the prosecutor’s office, but dismissed immediately.
I have no illusions. Obviously, the Investigative Committee will clean things up, make a few corrections, remove the most glaring flaws, and we’ll go on watching new episodes of this endless courtroom soap opera. I understand that you’re tired of it. Believe me, so am I.
