I haven’t written about developments in the “Yves Rocher case” for a long time, and everyone keeps asking what’s new there. Well, we’re basically almost finished.

On Monday, the defense will finish presenting its evidence, and I will testify. I assume the closing arguments will be scheduled for Wednesday, and most likely the defendant’s final statement will also be on Wednesday. After that, the judge will retire to deliberate, and the verdict will be delivered before New Year’s.

Substantively, nothing has changed: we were not allowed to question the Yves Rocher “injured party,” and all motions were denied, including those concerning the falsification of case materials.

Let me remind you that Yves Rocher’s CFO, questioned as a prosecution witness, stated that he has no claims against me or my brother and believes that the company’s cooperation with Glavpodpiska caused no damage whatsoever to Yves Rocher. Another prosecution witness, the CEO of MPK, said that he learned about the alleged damage from the case file — they themselves had not noticed any damage, but he fully trusts the investigation and leaves it to the court to decide whether any damage occurred.

That’s the latest.
