Some disgraceful con artists, apparently acting as part of Volodin’s and the Presidential Administration’s “counter-campaign,” deceived Leonid Parfyonov.
Well, “deceived” in the sense that they called him and asked him to record a video in my support ahead of January 15. Leonid immediately agreed and recorded it. They gave him a slip of paper with a website address; at the time of recording, there was nothing on the site, and then all that pro-Kremlin Nashi-style garbage they had filmed about me appeared there.
Yesterday they released the video (here it is) and started aggressively promoting it with posts like this: “Leonid Parfyonov launched a website in support of a guilty verdict for Alexei Navalny”.

What is there to say? It’s absolutely vile filth and a disgrace. Once again, we have seen the face and methods of this government, and any decent person, regardless of their ideological views, will say: people who do this should not be running our country. They are stupid, immoral, and shameless. Russia will not be able to develop while people like this remain in power.
I want to thank Leonid Parfyonov for agreeing so quickly and without hesitation to support the campaign. My sincere thanks to him.
I also note with satisfaction that the Kremlin has once again shown that the “criminal cases against Navalny” are entirely fabricated, and only outright lies can persuade anyone otherwise. It is so obvious that the Dmitry Kiselyovs and Vladimir Solovyovs no longer do the job; they have to use deception and exploit respectable people instead.
In short, this is not a government but a disgrace. It is shameful to support people like this. It is shameful to stay silent about them.
Update: Good Lord, they deceived Liya Akhedzhakova too. What kind of people are they? Are their own paid “cultural figures,” ready to sign anything, not enough for them?
