Fifteen minutes ago, a letter was officially submitted to Moscow City Hall regarding the holding of the Anti-Crisis March “Spring”.
An official application cannot be filed earlier than 15 days before the date of the event, but we considered it necessary to notify the authorities of our intentions in advance so that all city services could prepare more effectively.
We all want the demonstration to be organized to the highest standard, and we hope to avoid the usual endless hassle of “approved-not approved-reapproved.” We chose Tverskaya Street for one reason only: it is used several times a year for events of this kind (on May 1 and November 7, at a minimum).
Mikhail Khodorkovsky also signed the letter, which we are all very pleased about. He is calling on his supporters to take part in the March.
