Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., the Moscow City Court will hear the appeal in the Yves Rocher case.

Everyone is asking me what this means and who is demanding what.

It’s simple:

1) No one was satisfied with the verdict, so both we and the prosecutor’s office appealed it.

2) In our appeal, we are asking for the guilty verdict to be overturned and for an acquittal to be issued.

3) In its appeal, the prosecutor’s office is demanding that the original legal classification of the charges be restored (Judge Korobchenko changed the classification under which Oleg and I were convicted from Article 159 — fraud — to Article 159.4 — fraud in the sphere of entrepreneurial activity), and is also seeking prison terms of 8 and 10 years for Oleg and me, respectively.
