This is simply marvelous. Someday, when all secrets come to light, we will find out that all of them were citizens of other countries.
So far, only Montenegro has disclosed information about the people who were granted honorary citizenship of the country. It turned out that the main “face” of Putin’s propaganda TV machine—the Channel One news anchor—obtained Montenegrin citizenship back in 2011.
This is what the local media are writing about it:
So it turns out that for four years now, the most patriotic news has been delivered to us by a foreign citizen. In effect, a foreign agent and a member of the “fifth column” (a term for supposed internal enemies).
On the other hand, can Ekaterina Andreyeva really be blamed for anything? More than anyone else, she understands that practically every other word she says is a lie. She understands that a state built on lies has no future. She knows that not a single Channel One correspondent believes what they are saying.
Of course, like the entire nomenklatura of Putin’s regime, she aspires to the ideal: a) make money here, and b) have the option at any moment to get on a plane and, using a second passport, leave “this country” for a new homeland.
In any case, watching the news on Channel One will be more amusing now. Phrases like “the lies and propaganda of Gayropeans” (a derogatory Russian pun on “Europeans”) take on a whole new meaning.
