It has just been reported that in Kemerovo Region, a criminal case has been opened over the arson attack on a Platon office. Let’s keep the fire going too. The fight against the corrupt Rotenberg-linked Platon system is a just cause.
Thousands of truck drivers across the country are taking part in protests against it, and hundreds of thousands support them. After the New Year, the issue disappeared from the federal news agenda, which greatly helped the Kremlin: truckers are poorly organized and inexperienced in PR and politics, so the plan is to suffocate them with an information blackout and talk like this: see, no one cares about you anymore, journalists aren’t coming to you, stop striking and start paying.
That is why both our informational support and our organizational help in, so to speak, “promoting the protest campaign” are very important to them.
As you may remember, the truckers told us they were ready to put anti-Platon stickers on a large number of vehicles—up to 100,000. We announced a contest with cash prizes: first place — 50,000 rubles, second place — 30,000 rubles, third place — 20,000 rubles.
