Turns out I’m in good company today. I walked up to the office doors—and there were those two scumbags again. One of them splashed some caustic blue chemical liquid at me. Good thing it didn’t get in my eyes. Then they ran off.

So I, as is my tradition, chased him around the parking lot for a bit (from the outside, I imagine it looked like a Benny Hill sketch), then gave up and drove home to change. I had to throw out the shirt; now I’m trying to save the backpack and jacket, but I’ll probably lose that battle too.

I go online and see the same kind of crap happened to the writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya—except the bastards doused her with brilliant green antiseptic right at a school competition, hitting children too.

So this is some kind of coordinated campaign on their part.

There’s really nothing funny about it, by the way. This is all going to end with acid being thrown in people’s faces, with the open backing of the police and security services. You can’t even call it mere negligence anymore. It’s obvious who is supplying information about who is going where and when they’ll arrive.

In their fight to protect their money in Panamanian offshore accounts, these guys will go a lot further yet.
