What a hellish tangle. I hope that one day the “Magnitsky case” will become the basis for a grand tribunal; the entire mafia is implicated in it — from cellist-billionaire Roldugin to, as it turns out, ACF’s favorite Maxim Liksutov.

The newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung — the very one where the “Panama Papers” began (the archive is in its possession, in fact) — has published a new investigation.

They found that a company linked to Liksutov also received a share of the 5.4 billion rubles stolen from the state budget by the people responsible for Sergei Magnitsky’s death.

So far, the amount identified is relatively small — $336,000 — but still.

The *Süddeutsche* piece is in German. I don’t see a Russian or English translation yet, but here is a summary of the gist in Russian:

I hope the disgusting crook Liksutov is added to sanctions lists and stripped of the ability to travel to Monaco to visit his yacht.

And of course, SZ’s publication is yet another confirmation that ACF was right. For many years, we have consistently documented and proved that Liksutov is one of the biggest corrupt officials.

We will continue this work and will demand that Liksutov be held criminally accountable.
