Though he is entirely innocent, Oleg has already spent a year and a half in prison on a completely fabricated case with no victim. Of that time, he spent six months in solitary confinement under harsh detention conditions.
The time has come when he can apply for parole. Of course, in today’s Russia that seems to be reserved only for Yevgenia Vasilyeva, but since he has the right to apply, Oleg has filed for early release.
The court hearing will take place on June 27 at the Uritsky District Court, and the prison’s parole commission has already sent its opinion to the court: not advisable, as he has not yet been reformed.
