The trial got a little livelier — we moved on to hearing witness testimony.

Let me remind you that in the first Kirovles trial, 39 out of 41 prosecution witnesses effectively testified in our favor. The only ones who spoke clearly against us were Opalev, the former head of Kirovles, and his daughter, who worked under him as head of the commercial department.

This time, Opalev’s testimony was pushed to the very end, while his daughter testified yesterday.

She did not live up to the prosecution’s hopes and, despite the fact that I once again directly accused her in the courtroom of forming a criminal group with her daddy, she stated that, in her opinion, no one stole those 16 million rubles from Kirovles — neither in cash nor in timber.
