Applications have been submitted for the “He Is Not Dimon to Us” rallies in 54 cities. In one city, the rally has already been approved.

Yesterday's call to demand answers from Medvedev out in the streets seems to have gone over pretty well.

Although, I have to admit, I realize it’s not my powers of persuasion at work here — it’s Dimon himself and his remarkable real estate holdings.

I assume this isn’t all of them, but from the comments under the YouTube video (it’s about to hit a million views), the following groups organizing rallies have been identified:

Meanwhile, the rally in Voronezh has already been officially approved.

And in St. Petersburg, the application was filed for Hyde Park, where no official approval is required.

A real-time updated list of cities is here.

A reminder that throughout today, you can submit an application to hold a rally in your city. A sample application form is available here.

Do it, even if you’ve never been to a rally before. It’s fun, and you’re not risking anything. In the worst-case scenario, only you and two of your friends will show up. You’ll take funny photos of each other with little signs, and later you’ll remember for a long time this amusing experience of organizing an anti-corruption rally.

And here’s a funny story from Tomsk. Local authorities asked applicants to specify who was funding the rally — and were promptly told where to go. They were left puzzled: why has everyone suddenly gone crazy and been bringing in rally applications all morning?
