I had no idea there were so many comic-book characters with green faces. Today I was thoroughly educated on the subject: everyone knows Fantomas, the Hulk, Shrek, and Gena the Crocodile (a popular Soviet/Russian cartoon character). But there’s also Green Lantern and the Green Hornet!
The brilliant green antiseptic poured on me in the morning did not change our plans.
We even held the press conference exactly on schedule. I don’t think Altai Krai has seen many like it.
Then we opened a campaign office in Barnaul. There were too many volunteers for the space we had rented. We didn’t expect such a turnout on a Monday workday. We had to hold the meeting outside. The weather was great, and it turned out really well.
A huge snowbank makes the best podium.
By the way, the Barnaul group for the "He Is Not Dimon to You" rally has 2,700 members.
Then we went to Biysk (160 km / 99 miles from Barnaul) and opened a volunteer office there.
I also went over to the picket by Cossacks, NOD activists (members of the pro-Kremlin National Liberation Movement), and Donbas veterans that had been organized outside our office, and spoke with them:
The opening in Biysk went really well—we had an interesting conversation. The only problem was that, once again, not everyone could fit into the office. But I think I managed to speak with everyone afterward.
It was our fifth day in Western Siberia, and we opened four offices.
Thank you to everyone who came, helped, and supported us! You’re the best, and we will win!
