Terrifyingly scary. I’ve been on all sorts of live broadcasts a hundred times—on TV, in debates, and so on—so I’m supposedly an experienced person. But hosting my own show alone on camera turned out to be unexpectedly frightening and nerve-racking.
I finally understood why Lyuba complains about the stress. Your heart pounds so hard—especially at the beginning of the program—that it feels like it’s going to jump out of your chest.
Still, it’s worth putting in the work for the noble cause of helping YouTube defeat the zombie box (a slang term for state TV).
The program will come out every week. I’d be glad to hear criticism, suggestions, and advice—both about the show itself and about the development of the channel in general.
Thank you to everyone who watched and everyone planning to watch.

1:25 Alexei Navalny on the new weekly program “Navalny 20:18” and the YouTube channel “Navalny LIVE.” 2:57 On propaganda on federal TV channels. 6:42 ❓ Why do you stream on “Navalny LIVE” rather than on the main channel? 7:33 On Medvedev’s annual government report to the State Duma. 10:44 On a video from an anonymous YouTube channel comparing Navalny to Hitler. 17:17 On school academic competitions devoted to the presidential election. 19:03 On Sobyanin’s initiative to demolish five-story apartment blocks in Moscow. 26:11 ❓ Is the ACF planning to work on the five-story apartment block issue in a more organized way? 26:35 ❓ Do you stand by your promise to file a complaint with the ECHR for everyone detained at the March 26 rallies? 33:09 ❓ How can relations between society and the Cossacks be improved? 35:25 On the Zenit Arena stadium. 38:02 ❓ Please comment on Zhirinovsky’s statement that officials should no longer be required to declare their income. 42:45 ❓ If you become president, how will you fight the spread of pseudoscience in Russia? 44:45 On the June 12 rallies across Russia. 46:32 ❓ Do the June 12 rallies need official approval? 50:28 On the cancellation of a 15% increase in housing and utility rates in Novosibirsk after the rallies. 53:00 ❓ I showed my grandmother the film about Dimon (a nickname for Dmitry Medvedev), and now she’s going to vote for Navalny. I didn’t think that actually worked. 53:58 ❓ Are you planning to abolish mandatory residential registration? 55:51 ❓ What will happen to Roskomnadzor when you come to power? 57:52 ❓ What model will you use to carry out lustration?
P.S. In this post I’m supposed to be promoting “Navalny at 20:18,” but I can’t help saying this: watch how “Cactus” started today, after Lyaskin returned to the air.
