Yesterday’s livestream was blocked worldwide 20 minutes after it ended. It turns out Channel One (Russia’s main state TV channel) threw a fit. They didn’t like the one-minute clip from the film *Putin* that I discussed. I had to cut that minute out. Here is the full broadcast with timestamps.

YouTube video

0:04 The beginning. In the studio: a “political loser.”

0:48⚡Roskomnadzor (Russia’s media and internet regulator) is trying to block navalny.com as an interim measure in Oleg Deripaska’s lawsuit against Ms. Rybka, filed in the oligarch’s pet court in his hometown of Ust-Labinsk.

1:40 Corruption has been declared a private matter.

4:10 How to get around blocks: instructions from Rossiya 24 (Russian state TV). “Blocking popular internet resources is, to put it mildly, pointless,” says the presenter.

7:02 Minister Mikhail Abyzov on Deputy Prime Minister Prikhodko aboard Deripaska’s yacht.

9:25 “I’m trying to find my moral bar. It has fallen so low that it’s impossible to find. It’s somewhere around the fourth floor or the third!”

10:50 Looking back at the story involving Mikhail Kasyanov.

12:33❗“Instagram was deeply disappointing: it deleted two photos at Roskomnadzor’s request and in doing so became part of Russia’s corrupt censorship machine.”

14:19 Skolkovo’s best project.

14:46 Nastya Rybka on her sex coach Alex Leslie, a.k.a. Alexander Kirillov, who turned out to be a resident of Skolkovo.

15:22 “You are looking at Alex Leslie’s best project! Perfect. Alex should be made the symbol of Skolkovo!”

20:06 “The Wagner PMC”: what are we doing in Syria?

22:45 “The Ministry of Defense betrayed Russian citizens. They said there were no Russians there.”

25:40❗Do private military companies exist in Russia? “No organization called ‘the Wagner PMC’ exists or can exist.”

26:39 Article 359 of the Russian Criminal Code prohibits mercenarism: “They are mercenaries; they should face criminal prosecution.”

33:52 “When people long for an assault rifle, a normal country’s answer is: ‘Join the army.’”

33:17 “We must get an answer as to why people with the same passports as ours are dying somewhere. What are they dying for? And why are there murky financial flows connected to their deaths?”

35:48 Could it happen that, because of low turnout, foreign presidents will no longer want to deal with Putin?

36:24 Weekly approval and disapproval ratings.

37:04 Who would you vote for right now?

37:51 Who would you never vote for under any circumstances?

38:37 Which candidates’ campaign materials have you come across over the past two weeks?

39:20 “74% of our fellow citizens do not see any campaigning or election campaign at all!”

40:10 What issues should presidential candidates pay special attention to?

42:20 “40% of people want presidential candidates to discuss corruption!”

43:24 How do you feel about the state allocating money to kill stray animals ahead of the championship?

44:24 Is it normal that my relatives call me a traitor for supporting you?

46:18 No campaigning for Putin was detected.

47:11 “The Central Election Commission considers our leaflet prohibited, even though it does not mention any candidates by name. But in the film about Putin, no campaigning was detected.”

47:40❗There used to be a clip here from a film about Putin in which Oliver Stone praises Putin. (And no, the Central Election Commission does not consider this “creating a positive image of a candidate” or illegal campaigning.) But the livestream recording was blocked following a complaint from Channel One, so we removed this clip and re-uploaded the video.

48:16 “In reality, Putin—not Yeltsin—is the father of the oligarchs in Russia.”

49:00 How do you counter the ironclad: “If not Putin, then who?”

52:05 “It turns out the surveillance cameras in small towns are there to catch our volunteers with leaflets!”

57:34 Opposition versus opposition: the standoff between Yashin and United Russia members in Moscow’s Krasnoselsky District.

1:00:40 “Yashin is a real official. He even deals with the opposition the way he is supposed to.”

1:00:58 A victory over idiocy.

1:02:15 “Let’s work in a way that allows us to achieve at least small victories over the idiocy of this government. When we unite, we can deal some pretty painful blows to idiocy and to idiots.”
