The situation with the blocking of our resources turned out to be even more interesting. It turns out they’ve been trying this since the beginning of the year. And they’ve been trying to do it quietly, so we wouldn’t know. The scheme is the same one that worked for Deripaska — namely, through interim measures.

Look, the prosecutor’s office (for some reason in Altai) rushes to court and demands that information promoting a voter strike be declared prohibited. And, as interim measures, it asks to block:

Fortunately, the judge was not as utterly deranged as the one in Ust-Labinsk and refused to take responsibility for such lawlessness. He stated the obvious: you cannot impose interim measures that immediately hand victory to one of the parties in the dispute.

And he denied the prosecutor’s request.

But Deripaska and Prikhodko found the right words.

All in all, this is yet another piece of proof that they’re killing two birds with one stone: protecting Prikhodko and undermining the election boycott.

Well, we’re not going to give up easily. A little later I’ll write about how we’re fighting the blocking, but for now, if you came to this post via the mirror, check whether https://navalny.com/ opens for you without a VPN or other workarounds. For most people it should still open despite the block.

And sign up to be election observers — Putin does not want that.
