Our video production department is expanding, and we are looking for a camera operator who can also take on editing duties.
Requirements:
Ability to shoot dynamic on-location reports outdoors, including filming in the subway, stores, and similar settings.
Ability to get set up quickly on location, frame a simple but solid composition, and keep shots in focus.
Ability to edit a video quickly, sometimes the same day, in Final Cut, and add basic graphics (lower thirds, intro/outro cards, etc.).
The stand-up segments will be 5–10 minutes in final length, so field shoots will last no more than one to two hours.
Experience working with GH4/5, Sony 7, and Canon EOS cameras.
The finished videos should look roughly like this.
Overall, we need someone driven by the cause, ready to help build the Beautiful Russia of the Future (a political slogan associated with Alexei Navalny), and knowledgeable about politics. This job is not for you if you are used to being in the office on a fixed 9-to-6 schedule.
