An amazing story. TV Rain sent its London stringer to the apartment of TV host Sergei Brilyov that we found.
Before that, the channel contacted his wife—the owner of the apartment. Irina Brilyova said they did not own any apartment in London.
But when the stringer went to the address, she first spoke to the neighbors, and one of them recognized Brilyov.
And second—and this is the best part—she ran into the Brilyovs themselves. And these ardent statists and Putin admirers—as TV Rain reports—BOUGHT OFF THE STRINGER.
They gave the young woman £250 so that she would hand the recordings over to them instead of sending them to TV Rain.
Brilyov gets his money from taxpayers—that is, out of your pocket. The irony. He used your £250 to keep you from finding out that earlier he had used your £700,000 to pay for his apartment.
Incidentally, by bribing a journalist, Brilyov—a British subject—committed a serious offense against his Crown and his new (and primary) homeland: Britain.
