I (like you, of course) have read and heard a million scattered stories about some magical prisons in Northern Europe, where inmates live almost as if they were in hotels and every last one of them is rehabilitated.

So it’s interesting to see for ourselves. The BBC brought Oleg to Finland so he could visit local prisons and compare them with Russian ones:

The number of prisoners in Finland is among the lowest in the world. Conditions in local prisons are sometimes compared to Soviet Young Pioneer summer camps.
