Alexei Navalny said that, according to exit polls and the campaign’s internal polling, the election should go to a runoff. The campaign team says it is confident in this data and is calling on the city authorities not to interfere in the vote count. Observers are being asked to closely monitor the final stage of the count.
Campaign chief Leonid Volkov also said that the team would coordinate the work of observers and counter possible fraud in order to prevent votes from being stolen and to ensure an honest count.
