Armor, and the sound cut out.
Well, I would like, with great satisfaction,
to congratulate all the staff at our headquarters
who worked somewhere around the clock
with us and helped bring the first
first round of the election campaign to a close.
According to the exit poll data we have
on hand, they indicate that
there will be a second round in this election.
Take that away.
These are exact figures, and we are absolutely confident in them.
We are calling on City Hall right now not to take
any steps that could
distort the results. We understand perfectly well that there is a
great temptation right now to simply throw in
some 8 to 10 percent of the vote
and portray it as a first-round victory. We
want to declare that we will do everything
to make sure this does not happen. We are calling
right now, including through you,
on observers to work very hard
during these last few hours so that
not a single vote is stolen.
Please.
Dear colleagues,
The latest trends, based on the data
we have, have been checked and rechecked,
verified by our sociological
services, which we trust completely.
These are the results recalculated to
100 percent of the vote:
Alexei Navalny — 35.6 percent of the vote.
Sergei Sobyanin — 46 percent of the vote.
Alexei.
Please, because we still have a
very important and responsible stage ahead. We must not
allow your votes to be stolen, and we
are now heading back in order to
coordinate the work of the observers. We
know from experience how this works. Right now
Moscow City Hall has received exactly the same data, and
I think that
its chief strategist has already signed off on it —
Vladimir Putin. At this very moment they are
interfering with a relatively honest
vote count and with the move to a second round, or trying
to prevent it. So now we are returning to
headquarters so that they have
more to think about, so that they
understand they will not succeed in falsifying
the votes. Thank you very much.
