This is now Moscow’s top photo spot. The view really is great, but there are so many people that your picture will most likely end up being called "me, my girlfriend, and somebody else’s selfie stick." It’s an interesting place — I’ll write more about it on the blog tomorrow — but my main impression is this: there’s no way it can be worth 14 billion rubles. The renovation looks like your grandma’s dacha (country house): the same kind of paving tiles, grass, and gravel. But your grandma’s dacha — even if you made it 300 times bigger — doesn’t cost 14 billion rubles, does it? #Zaryadye
